Mohair, drop-stitch | 2022

This project is the first time I tried drop stitch, and also my first time working with mohair.

The drop stich technique is achieved by wrapping consistent lengths of yarn around the needles without stitching and then “dropping” those lengths to create the vertical patterns.

The colored segments were built up out of multiple colors of mohair, and I experimented with the types of variations I could get mixing the yarn like pigment.
