She's On Pointe is a collection of paper cutouts made during my time at the Parsons Summer Intensive Study in the summer of 2024. This piece began as an exploration in typography, and evolved into a work exploring the interaction of transparency, negative space, and the manipulation of physical form. The iconography used in this piece is also intended to pay homage to the LGBTQ+ community and culture. The full piece unfolds down the wall in two sections.
