Malabrigo wool, freeform knit | 2022

For this piece I challenged myself to create something only out of the wool that was on sale at my favorite local yarn shop, Sheep Thrills, in Lauderhill, FL.

Good yarn is very expensive, but sometimes strong colorways in a collection are put on sale because timid knitters don’t know what to do with them.

I designed this sweater to make good use of one of those colorways, as well as the chunky texture of the wool. I love how the colors play against each other.
